Diablo III Confirmed For May Release

It feels like we've been waiting forever for a solid release date to be announce for Diablo III. And it started to seem like plans to bring the series to home console were getting in the way of release everyone is really waiting for... on PC.

Blizzard announced today that Diablo III would release on May 15th for PC and Mac. It's not as early as a recent rumors suggested, however, In just two months, you'll be able to finally get your hands on it.

We know that this is a big one, so... Tell GR: Who will be picking up Diablo III on May 15th?

    I signed up for the annual pass so I can preload it already but I still bought the CE Edition.

    Ill be getting the digital copy so I can play immediately AND the CE. I'm normally against CE's I think they're a ridiculous waste of money. But I'll enjoy being a hypocrite getting the digital download AND the CE for this game. Blizzard loves me and my kinds :D

    I'll wait for console release my rig isn't beast enough to run it I'm sure unless they do some crazy goodness like WoW's engine which can run on any computer from the last 2 decades.

    Blizzard is usually pretty good with making their games run on old comps. Also I thought the alleged console version turned out to be untrue...?

    Not too sure to be honest. Nothing has really confirmed nor denied it. Last I heard some community manager tweeted there is a development team focused on the console port.

    I think I read the tweet was pulled and blizzard commented they'd cut the guy who said it's hands off for tweeting misleading information. Which could be misleading itself... Life is confusing.
