LATEST FEATURES Being A Console Is Actually Xbox One's Worst Asset
Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.

DirectX 11 Comes to Crysis 2 on June 27th

Posted on Thursday, June 23 @ 11:00:00 Eastern by

Babies! That's what you are! Xbox 360?! More like "12 YEAR OLDS: THE GAME"!! PS3? More like "CRY TO YOUR MOMMY 3"!! Don't even get me started on the Wii! That piece of garbage smells like a stinky diap-- What did you say?! WHAT DID YOU SAY?! HANDHELDS?!?! BWAHAHAHA

Hey, what did you think of my elite PC gamer impression? I've been working on it. I know it's not there yet, but I think it's coming along. It's even funnier when you think about the fact that I have a Mac.... Frankly, I'm a little intimidated by PC gaming, and I need to get over it because I'm looking at a whole new rig just for Battlefield 3. Certainly, if I manage to get my machine together and running before October, I should try a couple of games to see how it runs, right?

It may be time to add Crysis 2 on your list of graphics-intensive PC games because Crytek announced that they've got a new compatibility update that'll bring their New York City based shooter up to DirectX 11 standards. They'll be releasing a high-resolution texture pack along side that upgrade so that everything looks really shiny.

You can expect the update to melt your computer on June 27th.

You know PC gaming is hurting when someone can edit a gaming website and not even own a PC.

MAC's are amazing machines....pitty they dont have the gaming culture backing that PC does. My fiance has a MAC and when i want to play games like Rift or League of Legends with her she can't since those games dont support the operating system. True you can make a MAC run like a PC with Windows 7 or another compatible OS but it's too much of a pain in the ass. (( random rant over )). Nice to see DX11 coming to this game...maybe now i will pick it up on my PC.
