Dishonored E3 Demo Showcases Multiple Ways To Play

Posted on Thursday, June 28 @ 12:41:04 Eastern by Alex_Osborn
For those of you that like player choice and variety within your games - which I am guessing is most of you - Arkane Studios has crafted one of the most ambitious first-person action games yet. Not only does Dishonored boast one of the most fascinating settings, it also allows for a wide array of different gameplay strategies, enabling the player to tackle each situation as he or she sees fit.

Take "The Golden Cat" E3 demo for example, which Bethesda released for your viewing pleasure earlier today. The first video you see below shows a stealthy approach to the mission.

In the second video, the developer runs through the same level again with a much more aggressive approach, showing how different an experience a change in tactics can really offer.

Look for Dishonored in stores this October.

This looks great. I'll probably be the outright killer, on the first playthrough and then obsessively non-lethal on the second.

I'm sure I'll attempt the non-lethal route at first, get impatient, and then just slash my way through the game. Looks great though.

I was so-so about this but after watching these it looks like a pretty great mixup of Deus Ex (I only ever played the first one) Thief, & Bioshock.
