Donkey Kong 3D Spotted On Pre-Order Display

The 3DS has got some Legend of Zelda, plenty of Mario, even Starfox, but we're still waiting on a few more Ninteno staple franchises to show up to the 3-dimensional party. But if a pre-order placeholder box at an EB Games is to be believed, then we can scratch Donkey Kong off the list of no-shows.

A keen-eyed forum-goer at DKVine.com spotted what appears to be a 3DS pre-order box for Donkey Kong 3D. The box art has both Donkey and Diddy and says "Coming 2012" in bold red text.

No announcements have been made at this time, but EB Games doesn't make these cases themselves, so you should expect something official in the coming months.
