Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.

State of Decay Review
Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

Doom 4 Not Delayed... NOT Delayed.

Posted on Friday, October 21 @ 11:23:00 Eastern by

Last night rumors flew about that Rage's rocky trip across the wasteland of video game retail had given Bethesda cause to "indefinitely postpone" id Software's Doom 4. Not so says Bethesda VP of PR and Marketing Pete Hines:

Re: Doom 4 rumor, games are done when they are done and no title under development at id has been postponeindefinitely or otherwise.

If you didn't already know, I'll explain something to you. The only reason id Software ever joined up with Bethesda is because Bethesda lets their developers take all the time in the world with their projects. Seriously. How long do you think The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has been in development? YEARS. Rage was in the oven since 2007 and Doom 4 was first announced in 2008.

Don't worry, you'll have you next helping of alien hellspawn eventually.

Dwayne sure looks tough up there... or is it angry? If I were him, I'd be pissed cause that movie was so f*cking terrible.

Honestly, what were you expecting from a movie turnover? 2 hours of FPS drama?

It was a horrible Doom movie, but a passable sci-fi/monster flick. I enjoyed it immensely, though it was unfortunate the material was so mishandled. Oh, Zdaemon, how I miss the times we had together.

id stated after RAGE released they would focus on DOOM 4. Honestly....I can't say I want a DOOM 4.
    I'd happily take another Quake.

This. I liked Quake FAR better than the Doom series. Not sure why. Maybe it used 3d polygons first or maybe it's the first game I played a TF mod for? Who knows, but when I hear about another Doom game I'm just simply "meh"

I hope this Doom goes back to it's Serious Sam-like roots, with hordes of hell beasts surrounding me. Not that slow-ass Doom 3 crap.

I have faith that id will produce something incredible with Doom 4. Doom 3 was a different experience, but one can't help but miss that feeling of being one battered marine against overwhelming, hellish forces.
