Posted on Friday, April 4 @ 13:00:00 PST by Alex_Osborn

The previously announcedDoombeta will only be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, Bethesda has confirmed.

The publisher revealed this in a FAQ, noting that those who pre-orderWolfenstein: The New Orderon either Xbox 360 or Xbox One will get a code for the Xbox One version of thebeta. Likewise, those who pre-purchase the game for PlayStation 3 or PS4 will get a PS4 code.

The only way to currently get in on theDoombeta is by pre-ordering MachineGames' upcoming shooter, so if you want an early look at what's next for the iconic franchise from id Software, you'll have to pony up the cash for the newWolfenstein.

Wolfenstein: The New Orderlaunches on May 20th.
