Downloadable Content Possibly Coming To Pikmin 3

Posted on Tuesday, July 23 @ 12:00:00 PST by Alex_Osborn

creator and all around Nintendo superstar Shigeru Miyamoto has announced that Nintendo may be bringing additional content to Pikmin 3 via DLC.

According to Japanese site (via NeoGAF), Miyamoto revealed the studio's interest in producing more Pikmin 3 content, saying, "So, using the internet [the team] thinks it'd like to add new missions and maps to the game little by little."

So there you have it. By no means is this confirmation that we'll be getting Pikmin 3 DLC, but at the very least Miyamoto has tossed out a shred of hope to hold on to. Don't forget that the game launches in just a couple of weeks on August 4th. As such, be on the lookout for our review, which will be coming soon.
