Dracula Returns In 6 Minutes Of Pre-E3 Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow 2 Footage

Posted on Thursday, June 6 @ 14:18:51 Eastern by

At the end of Mecrury Steam's first Castlevania game, Gabriel Belmont transformed into Dracula in a modern-day world, but Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is set to explode in the revolutionary new setting. This six minute video takes its time, restablishing Konami's new Castlevania universe.

Can Gabriel regain his immortality? If I were him, I'd stick with all the sweet vampire powers and focus on kicking some Angel knights to the curb of my massive castle. Two flaming swords? Please. Perhaps more revelatory is the reintroduction of Gabriel's wife (who kicked off the first game's plot by getting herself killed).

Flaming fists, ice swords, and some truly brutal attacks are at Dracula's disposal, and familiar faces like Alucard are on their way too, but we'll find out more at E3 next week. Look for GameRevolution's hands-on preview, impressions from the show floor, and all the news and information you need to make it through gaming's biggest week of the year.
