This strategic space fighter won’t wow you with its looks, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t fun to be had. Especially if you bring friends along.

Dragon Quest X Coming to 3DS This September... in Japan

Posted on Tuesday, July 8 @ 04:30:00 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

Dragon Quest X is coming to 3DS in Japan this September, Square Enix has announced.

The game will run off the cloud (just like its smartphone counterpart) and will feature cross-platform play, allowing gamers to hook up with their friends on Wii U, Wii, and PC. The game does, however, require a subscription fee in order to play, so there's no hiding the fact that DQX will demand a sizeable portion of both your time and money.

That said, there's been a lot of positive buzz surrounding the game in Japan, so the price of admission is apparently well worth it. Now, if only Square could get the game localized for a release out west....
