Making it the 18th installment since the series debuted on the 3DO in 1994, EA has announced Need for Speed: The Run. In development at EA Black Box, Need for Speed: The Run will take players on a cross-country tour from San Fran to New York. Utilizing DICE's Frostbite 2.0 engine, The Run will feature environmental hazards, elements of destruction, and adrenalin-pumping racing action.
Need for Speed: The Run is set to launch this November on the PS3 and Xbox 360. EA has also released a short teaser trailer to help rev your engines.
