EA Boss Says "You'll See Mirror's Edge 2"

Ahh, E3, a time for new games, new previews, new announcements, and A PERSONAL VENDETTA. If you know me at all, you'll know that I'm a staunch supporter of EA and Dice's experiment, Mirror's Edge. Loved that game! Some people didn't. I catch a lot of flak for being so fond of the title, but I also know I'm not alone.

That's why I'm happy to say that EA Games Boss Frank Gibeauhas all but sent out the press release about Mirror's Edge 2. The executive told GameTrailers that we'll "see that combination, I'm sure."
We haven't killed Mirror's Edge. We're actively looking at how to bring it back in the right way. We love that franchise. The DICE guys really created something I think special the first time around. You've got to have a big idea to be able to do the next one and that's what we're working on.

I spoke with Dice today about the possibility about a sequel to Mirror's Edge but their focus was understandably on Battlefield 3.
