EA Sports NHL 15 Reveals First Screenshot

Posted on Monday, June 2 @ 12:31:25 Eastern by

EA Sports NHL 15 is ready to start the season once more, with the reveal of the game's first screenshot, featuring #19 Joe Thornton of the San Jose Sharks.

Given that EA Sports self-describes NHL 15 as a "new generation of hockey video games" that players will experience "in a way you've never experienced before," this will likely mean that this year's installment will be prepared for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. And the screenshot looks detailed and refined enough to require the power of those consoles, anyway.

In fact, the engine powering NHL 15 is the same for EA Sports UFC, which will be great in bringing photorealistic movements and collision physics to the arena. NHL 15 will feature the new commentary team of Mike 'Doc' Emrick and Eddie Olczyk, over 9,000 individual crowd models, and can be pre-ordered for its release this fall.
