EA Sports UFC Gets Another Free Content Update

Posted on Tuesday, August 26 @ 16:00:00 PST by

Haven't popped EA Sports UFC into your console for a while? Or perhaps you're a fan of the game and have realized a few changes that have made by the second free content update?

Electronic Arts has seen fit to enhance the existing gameplay by adding a few characters, like welterweights Matt Brown and Mike Pyle as well as heavyweight Stipe Moicic, and by including more than just a manual taunt. This time around, fighters with low stamina or high leg-damage will need to watch out when throwing a kick since it can be parried and open themselves up to a quick parry.

Strikes that land on an opponent will take off an adjusted amount of stamina, and basic Single Leg Takedowns will land in Half Guard position. Also, a fighter on the ground who takes too many strikes without attempting to gain a better position will force the referee to step in and call a TKO Stoppage.
