REVIEWSGRiD 2 Review
Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.
State of Decay Review
Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?
E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

EDGE Contest Offers Free Games on Steam and Puts You in One
Posted on Monday, August 8 @ 16:48:09 Eastern by Josh_Laddin
This Thursday, a little indie game called EDGE is debuting on Steam, and Daniel is already hard at work (one hopes) on the review. Meanwhile, you can check out this trailer for a joint contest with Two Tribes and Mobigame in celebration of the new release. The winner will get a prize pack full of games from both developers on Steam, as well as having their name featured somewhere in EDGE.
To win, I think you have to make a quirky video of you... or someone... hanging on stuff... I didn't entirely get it from the trailer, but one thing I do know is that my day just got a little weirder. The contest page is here, where you need to post a comment to link to your entry.
I don't think we've had a shortage of reviews for high-profile titles, if that's what you're implying. But summertime has turned into the big downloadable indie season, while bigger releases get clustered closer to the holidays. Ain't nothing wrong with getting some hard-working indie developers some exposure, too, right?
If you're looking for a new big title, I'm off to Canada in a couple of days to get Deus Ex underway, and that's going to hit later this month.
Oh definitely nothing wrong with reviewing stuff put out by indie developers :). Sorry if it seemed I was implying that. I was just curious. I did also underestimate how slow the summer months are....Which....They are really slow....And I'd rather read about games like Catherine over Call of Juarez The Cartel any day!
