Epic Mickey 2 in the Works?

Posted on Saturday, August 27 @ 13:56:22 Eastern by

According to an anonymous reader on Destructoid, an online survey asking readers to choose their favorite box art image for Epic Mickey 2 strongly suggest the existence of the game, though it has to be officially announced.

The survey also asks which title out of four would be best: Epic Mickey 2: Return of the Mad Doctor, Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, Epic Mickey 2: Mystery on Mean Street, and just Epic Mickey 2. So that suggests that there is Mad Doctor, a second character (likely Oswald The Lucky Rabbit from the box art), and a street that isn't nice...

If this is true, let's hope the game actually lives up to all the hype this time.

I thought that the people responsible for the first one, which I liked even though it had some issues, were canned. A polished sequel could definitely have my interest, so I hope it happens.

...except don't those obnoxious, huge-ass brand banners across the top of the box usually just end up clashing horribly with the box-art? Especially the bright green-and-white 360 one?

What friggin person buys a game solely on box art? Thats how people choose B-movie horror films to rent from Blockbuster... well before the days of Netflix.

Ooooh, that's right. You're 15 and still a child. My bad.

Fight or friend enemies? Fight or /friend/? You don't "friend" people, because friend is not a god-damn verb, it's a noun. We already have a verb form of friend, "befriend", so you don't need to mangle a perfectly good noun to fill that role.
