Fez Set To Launch On PC This May

Posted on Monday, March 18 @ 12:34:21 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

Phil Fish's adorable platforming puzzler will be making its way to PC in just a couple of months. Development studio Polytron announced the exciting news, and a Steam listing makes it official; Fez will be available for PC starting May 1st.

The port is being done by the original developer Polytron, with Trapdoor publishing. If you're computer happens to be as dated as mine, you may want to check out the system requirements before shelling out a few Steam bucks. Here they are:

Minimum: OS:Windows XP SP3 Processor:Intel Core 2 Duo 2.8Ghz or equivalent Memory:2 GB RAM Graphics:Any OpenGL 3.0-compliant GPU DirectX:9.0 Hard Drive:500 MB HD space Sound:OpenAL-compatible Additional:Latest video card drivers are recommended; DirectX 9 is required but only used for XInput game controller support

Recommended: OS:Windows 7 Memory:4 GB RAM Graphics:nVidia GeForce GT 240 or better DirectX®:9.0 Additional:Latest video card drivers are recommended; DirectX 9 is required but only used for XInput game controller support

Fish has made it clear that he plans to bring Fez to as many platforms as possible, so sit tight PlayStation faithful, I'm sure a port will be coming your way very soon as well.
