Final Fantasy Tactics Comes to iOS Devices This Week

Posted on Monday, August 1 @ 12:49:30 Eastern by
With the iOS device owning population growing larger and larger, more key video gaming brands are making the jump to the iTunes App Store. The latest? Final Fantasy.

With a slight delay under its belt (making it an officially sanctioned Final Fantasy game), Square Enix is set to release Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions on the iPhone this Thursday. The game is only compatible with iPhone 3G S and above, so unless your iPod Touch is younger than two years old you'll be out of luck when it comes to moogles, chocobos, fantasies, and... tactics. I'll be waiting for the inevitable sale on the game. Did you know that someone at Square Enix thinks it's still a good idea to charge $15.99 for Final Fantasy III on iOS?

I can't believe how much they charge. FFIII is nearly impossible to control on iOS. It should be $5-6, if you ask me.
