Final Fantasy XIII Versus To Miss Another E3

Posted on Monday, May 7 @ 09:49:33 Eastern by
Looks like he is bored and sick of waiting, too.

This will come as no shock: Final Fantasy Versus XIII will not be at E3 2012.

Seriously, Square Enix? What in the actual fuck was the point of announcing this game at E3 2006? I know the company is known for taking forever on games, but this is out of control.

Each E3, and each Tokyo Game Show it's the same: Everyone wants to see this game, yet Square Enix never delivers. I bet the end up doing an XIII-3 (or even XIII-4) before they ever get around to releasing Versus, which was revealed at the same time as Final Fantasy XIII.

I feel like I've added this to every "most anticipated game of (insert year)" in the past six years. But not anymore. I give up. I don't care about this game anymore. You've taken too long, Square.

I have wanted to play this and Versus for years now. I can't bring myself to finish 13-2 partially because I would have rather had a new FF (Not that I have any right to complain, I didn't put in the work I just play the game.) I really hope they step their game up and release this soon before we have a Final Fantasy: Forever on our hands

They need to just cancel it or rush release it so I don't have to hear about it anymore. :(

Has this gone on long enough to be considered Vaporware? Seriously this is ridiculous.

I've already said it but I'll say it again. Either actually put the game in production, or can it. At this rate Kingdom Hearts 3 will be released, and FF-Versus XIII will still be "in production," and by then the appeal will be long since lost.

A name change to Final Fantasy Versus Time would be suitable.

Nah, too much like Valve Time. I'm guessing square is trying to be like Valve here.

I'm pretty sure the "development team" for this game is just one guy drooli gon himself and muttering about incredible graphics in a basement closet of the Square Enix headquarters.

Rather they draw it out than release another Dirge of Cerberus.

They're tried to create the 'promise' of a large and developed world to set this generation of games in, without actually making large and developed games. Get 3 smaller games for the price of ... 3 smaller games. Now people want the game that was just a marketing point and the S-E doesn't know what to do.

Oh, and bring Type-0 to North America already.
