GAMING NEWSFinal Fantasy XIII-2 Now Integrated With FacebookPosted on Friday, February 3 @ 11:34:33 Eastern by Keri_Honea
![]() Oversharing on Facebook truly knows no bounds, as Square Enix announced today via press release that Final Fantasy XIII-2 players can now post their Achievements and Trophies directly to Facebook while they play. In addition, players can upload information on their game progress, including their party setup, From the press release:
Technically, you can already post your Achievements and Trophies via the PSN or third-party clients like Raptr, but I guess the good folks at SE decided that people really wanted "official" postings regarding their game progress. And now you can share your monster collection and battle scores! (Seriously, who asked for this?) More from the Game Revolution Network Comments

Let's imagine XIII was not a Final Fantasy, it was a brand new IP from Square. Instead of Odin, it was some non Final Fantasy name, etc. Just, remove the baggage that comes with the Final Fantasy name. Do you still like the game?
If you answered: I like it now, and I'd still like it if it wasn't FF. Great, I'm happy for you.
If you answered: I like it now, but maybe if it wasn't a Final Fantasy I'd have not enjoyed it. That's very honest of you.
If you answered: I hate it now, but if it wasn't a Final Fantasy, I would have liked it because I wouldn't have been do disappointed. Then what damo said applies to you, and you should probably try to get over your disappointment and enjoy it.
If you answered: I hate it now, and if it wasn't FF, I'd still hate it. Well, then what damo said is irrelivent to you. I fall into the final category.
Look, it was a game on rails for the first 25 hours. TWENTY FIVE hours of running in a straight line, with lots of story in between, and some RPG style fighting. No exploring, no talking to NPCs. If you wanted to really know what was going on, you were expected to read the very detailed "codex" (can't remember what it was called). I put forward the notion, that if this was anything but a Final Fantasy game, no one would be talking about it. It would just be one in a hundred mediocre RPGs that appealed to some people, and was passed over by others.

It will be a cold day in hell before I sign up for that service. Guess nobody is going to know my FF13-2 achievements. My heart bleeds.
