Final Fantasy XIII-2 Pre-Order Bonuses, Crystal Edition, and Limited Edition for Europe

Square Enix has revealed on its European blog that they will be offering pre-order bonuses (pictured above, click to enlarge) to anyone who pre-orders Final Fantasy XIII-2 in select retailers before its February 3rd release. It includes four bonuses:
  • An exclusive steelbook case
  • A downloadable content pack, the "Fight In Style" pack, which contains a new recruitable monster (Omega) and alternate costumes for both Serah and Noel
  • FINAL FANTASY XIII -Episode i-, a novella that fills the gaps between FINAL FANTASY XIII and FINAL FANTASY XIII-2
  • Three lithograph artcards, showing key images for the game


The Crystal Edition of Final Fantasy XIII-2 (pictured above, click to enlarge) at 90 Euros will include five extras:
  • Presentation box
  • 4-Disc FINAL FANTASY XIII-2 Original Soundtrack with premium digipak packaging*
  • Exclusive FINAL FANTASY XIII-2 T-Shirt from the SQUARE ENIX PRODUCTS range. Never to be available elsewhere!
  • Artwork book “The Art of FINAL FANTASY XIII-2”, featuring artwork across the production
  • 6 collectable postcards, featuring high quality CG artwork of main characters in the game
  • High Definition Lenticular Artprint, showing an iconic image of Lightning


And finally, the Limited Edition (pictured above) at 70 Euros will feature only some of the bonuses from the Crystal Edition:
  • Unique packaging
  • Composer Selected Soundtrack: CD with selection of music tracks from the game, specially chosen by the composers
  • Artwork book “The Art of FINAL FANTASY XIII-2”
  • 6 collectible postcards, featuring high quality CG artwork of main characters in the game
  • High Definition Lenticular Artprint, showing an iconic image of Lightning

    They actually expect people to pay for this game now, especially with how bad the release was? What a joke.

    I'm not sold until this happens:

    "Hey, preorder now and get the Final Fantasy 7 remake for PS3 that you people can't shut up about!"

    FFXIII was the second worst FF in the series with only FFXII beating it out for the bottom spot. Even FFXIV was better, which is just sad. I won't be going near a sequel to it.

    I found FFXII something a bit unique to me, though i didn't enjoy FFVIII much and X-2 was pushing it.

    i'm going to be the first to give a positive comment. i never played the old FF games as a kid, but i've recently started playing FFXIII and i love it. 36 hours and 11 chapters in and i'm already really excited for the sequel, i'll definitely be getting one of the pre-order deals
