The PlayStation 4 is changing Sony's gaming landscape in many ways, and the console's fancy new controller is playing a major role its evolution.

From a built-in touchpad to a position-tracking light bar and even a slightly modified form factor, there's a whole lot new about Sony's next-gen gaming controller. We'll have to wait until we get our hands on the device to know truly for ourselves how this will change the future of gaming, but until then, the developer video above provides a fantastic sneak peak at what's in store.
