Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.

State of Decay Review
Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

LATEST FEATURES Software Without GamePad Purpose Drives Nintendo's Disappointing E3
If Nintendo can't develop games made especially for the Wii U GamePad, then no one will be able to.

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

First Images of Wii U

Posted on Tuesday, June 7 @ 11:51:45 Eastern by

Nintendo announced the Wii U, their successor to the Wii and a console from the Japanese publisher that brings the company and its characters into the HD age. These official shots show off the plain white tablet controller and the small white console that rounds off the Wii's formerly sharp edges. While what's inside of the Wii U hasn't been officially detailed, it looks like it'll all have to fit in a pretty small package.

They have just released the 3ds, I am baffled as to why these promo shots are focusing so much on a portable console/controller....does anyone else find this weird?

I find it rather silly. It seems like Nintendo is just jumping on whatever new techno fad is out there to try and recover from the clusterf*ck that has been their MO for the last few years. If I had to take a wild guess, I would say that the hardware in the console itself will suffer because they are putting almost as much in the controller. A controller needs buttons, some sticks, maybe a flashy light. Thats it. Leave the big silly touch screens to big silly handheld systems.

Gonna have to argue with a little bit of that statement, Nintendo was the only one to not jump on the HD bandwagon and have done a fair job of the Wii. No one else in the gaming world had built a system on the sole purpose of movement, at least not in the way they did it. Sony and Microsoft are the ones who joined in on using movement as part of the controller, only because Wii did so well.

Well the Wii can't target this system to kids or geriatrics like they did for the Wii because there's no way that population could handle that control. Look how monstrous that thing is!
