Fist of the North Star 2 Confirmed For Wii U

Posted on Friday, September 14 @ 12:17:59 Eastern by

Tecmo Koei has confirmed Fist of the North Star 2 for Wii U, in addition to its release on Xbox 360 and PS3. This sequel to Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage will retain the original's ham-fisted, apocalyptic beat-'em-up action, and will hopefully feature multiplayer mode right from the very start.

Below are several screenshots for all three platforms. The game will feature several new playable characters such as Falco, Golan, Jackal, and Devil’s Rebirth. Some returning characters will be Mr. Heart, Shin, and The Zeed.

Fist of the North Star 2 will currently slated for a December 2012 release, well within the Wii U's launch window.
