Forza Horizon Box Art And First Screen Revealed

Posted on Thursday, May 17 @ 10:53:37 Eastern by

Not much information about Forza Horizon has surfaced, and the last time the Forza series was featured for the press was behind the scenes in February... and it was only DLC for Forza Motorsport 4. Thankfully, we've got some box art and the first screenshot (click on the image above to enlarge) of what looks to be a reimagined offshoot of the Forza concept.

Developed by Playground Games and Turn 10 Studios, Forza Horizon might be about taking the liveries of the game and being able to cruise about a world with various objectives... if the moniker Horizon holds any significant meaning. At the very least, I suspect that the emphasis will be on natural roads rather than racetracks.

However, we'll see Forza Horizon's true form at E3. It is expected to release some time later this year in Q4 2012.
