Full PlayStation Network Restoration by End of the Week

Posted on Tuesday, May 31 @ 12:13:36 Eastern by

Sony has announced that before the week is over, the PlayStation Network will be fully restored to its pre-fiasco state, except with much beefier security in place to prevent any further issues.

This means that the PlayStation Store will finally make its return, and PS3 users can begin taking advantage of Sony's "Welcome Back" package and get back to downloading games, demos, DLC and more.

The full restoration includes:
  • Full functionality on PlayStation®Store
  • In-game commerce
  • Ability to redeem vouchers and codes
  • Full functionality on Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity for PS3, PSP, VAIO and other PCs
  • Full functionality on Media Go
The PlayStation Store has been down for even longer than the PSN itself was, leaving all users unable to download any games or DLC. Now that the service will be back, what will be among the first things you download?

Shame on you Daniel, I'm thumbs downing you on principle, just like I do on all the youtube comments asking for "thumbs up if you agree". We're better than that here at GR.

I'm gonna grab me some LittleBigPlanet (for the lady) and InFamous for me. Then download as much LA Noire DLC as I can get my hands on. The action sequences might not be that great, but DAMN am I addicted to solving crimes.

Yeah I'm really torn by Wipeout HD + Fury or LBP. I know Infamous is a given because that game is badass.
