Gear of War Franchise Sales Now Over 19 Million

Posted on Wednesday, November 7 @ 13:19:53 PST by Alex_Osborn

The Gears of War franchise was born on the Xbox 360 and has gone on to be one of the platform's most valuable exclusives. From its groundbreaking "stop and pop" gameplay to its gorgeous visuals and over the top brutality, millions of gamers have fallen head over heels for this Locust-filled franchise.

Next year brings the launch of the prequel entry, Gears of War: Judgment, which explores the backstories of Cole and Baird.

Sound off in the comments below, telling us which Gears of War title has proven to be your favorite entry thus far. Personally, I lean towards the epic trilogy capper.
