Gears of War 3 RAAM's Shadow DLC Is A Prequel

Posted on Thursday, October 20 @ 13:10:32 PST by

Microsoft and Epic Games have announced the latest DLC for Gears of War 3 called "RAAM's Shadow", an add-on campaign and prequel that ostensibly looks into the past of the Locust general, all while the Zeta Squad attempts to evacuate Illima City in light of the fateful Emergency Day:

In addition to fighting as a new squad of Gears, players will step into the boots of RAAM himself, and for the first time storm the human stronghold from the perspective of one of the series' most legendary bosses.

Tai Kaliso from Gears of War 2, Lt. Kim, Michael Barrick from the comics, and newcomer Alicia Valera will be heading the three-hour add-on, which will cost 1200 MSP and be released December 13th. Players will be able to earn 250 Gamerscore points and will receive this campaign for free if they hold a Gears of War 3 Season Pass.
