Gears Producer Leaves Epic To Work On Mass Effect

Posted on Wednesday, July 3 @ 06:57:31 PST by Alex_Osborn

Epic has lost yet another member of its staff to a competing developer, this time BioWare. Former Gears of War producer Chris Wynn has left the company to work on the next installment in the Mass Effect franchise.

Wynn's role is senior development director, and while it may not be quite as high up as Casey Hudson's position, he will still have a lot of say on where the Mass Effect series goes in the future. He previously worked as the lead producer on Gears 3 and was senior producer on Judgment.

"Thrilled to announce that I will be joining BioWare as the Sr. Development Director on the next Mass Effect!" Wynn posted on Twitter.

Are you excited about Wynn's involvement in the next Mass Effect game? Let us know in the comments below.
