The American comment was... more me thinking along the lines that the I enjoyed the voice acting in games like the Fable series and the diversity offered in Morrowind. Nords have always, to me, sounded north-American (I'll be honest I can't really tell US/Canada apart - sorry about that) but with things like Game of Thrones, The Lord of the Rings etc being set in a fantasy setting and with the accents in these being typically more regional British sounding, it has become the "right-sounding" sort of accent to affiliate with this type of game. Does that make sense?
Of course I would never suggest that I dislike the American accent, all I'm saying here is in context to the fantasy genre - for example there was no issue with Fallout because that was set in the US. It IS only a tiny clip, it IS in Skyrim which will be full of Nords like Morrowind was full of Dunmer - and the Nords WILL sound American, it's just that if the vast majority of people dossing around sound like that then I'm not sure it'll be as endearing as the previous games, to me at least.
I'm from the UK, very superb of you to guess where my arse comes from ;)
