GLaDOS Back in the Booth for New Game and More Portal

Posted on Tuesday, August 2 @ 10:38:05 Eastern by

Maybe you don't know who John Lowrie or Ellen McLain are. Maybe you've played games, but you're not one of those people who sit through the credits. Maybe you've jammed on that start button hoping to get your achievement whether you watch the credits or not.

You monster.

John Lowrie is a voice actor in Valve's employ. He's best known as the Sniper in Team Fortress 2. His wife is Ellen McLain, the voice of GLaDOS in Portal and Portal 2. Please tell me they speak to each other in their respective voices all the time.

Lowrie tweets that Ellen is going in for work today on more Portal and a new game. You can bet that the Portal work is DLC for April's widely acclaimed first-person-puzzler. The real mystery is which new game McLain will be lending her talents to. Get to speculatin' in the comments, wanka!
