LATEST FEATURESBeing A Console Is Actually Xbox One's Worst Asset
Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.
Before Microsoft and Sony do something regarding their future in the video game business, I wanted to write, and I've wanted it for a long time now, but other things kept getting in my way, and fearing that tomorrow might be too late, today will have to do.

Good Old Games Brings Stranger's Wrath To You Dirt Cheap
Posted on Tuesday, July 19 @ 16:12:02 Eastern by Daniel Bischoff
If you're like me, you've been waiting patiently for the opportunity to play Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath on your PS3. Just Add Water has been working on updating the game for those of us without an original Xbox. Good Old Games feels our pain....
And is hoping to exploit that pain to get to our wallets!
If you can't wait any longer and want to play Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath, hop on over to GOG and drop $10 on this off-beat spaghetti western today. You can also put $3 down on The Longest Journey while you're at it. If the game is as long as it says it is, it's probably worth all the change underneath your couch cushions.
I remember the old Oddworld commercials they aired back when the PS1 dropped. Those commercials were the reason I wanted a Playstation. Well, them and Medievil. Sir Dan Fortesque was my homeboy back in the day. My grandmother got me the first MediEvil game for Christmas after it was released, and I had to practically pry my controller out of my grandpa's hands when I wanted to play it. I think he loved that game more than I did. Release a Medievil 3 and I'll buy a PS3, no questions asked.
But I digress; the Oddworld games are a good time as well.
If it's a direct port of the original, you'll not be disappointed. The writing is fantastic, level design rocks, and you can eventually get a weapon that's just a chicken leg you can throw at enemies. The only real gripes I had with the game were a few of the platforming elements, and the camera can be a jerk sometimes.
