Gran Turismo 6 Will Feature Microtransactions

Posted on Tuesday, November 19 @ 05:21:06 PST by Alex_Osborn
Polyphony Digital's upcoming racing sim, Gran Turismo 6, will feature microtransactions, Sony has confirmed in a post on the EU PlayStation Blog.

Players will be able to purchase in-game credits by shelling out some real-world cash of their own. Credits will be bundled in packs of 500 thousand, 1 million, 2.5 million, and 7 million. What do you think of Polyphony and Sony's decision to include microtransactions in the game? Is it a harmless addition or do you fear it will taint PlayStation's premier racing franchise? Comment below with your thoughts.
