Guild Wars 2 Closed Beta Begins Soon, Registration Now Available

Posted on Wednesday, February 22 @ 12:22:25 Eastern by Jonathan_Leack

Tired of waiting for Guild Wars 2? It's going to be a long few months before it releases, but today is your lucky day because beta signups have begun.

The Guild Wars 2 closed beta will begin soon and registration is now publicly available. Invites will be done in waves, and English, German, and French will all be supported within the beta client. As with virtually any MMO, knowledge is everything, so this is a great chance to get ahead and make sure you're ready to destroy everything in your path like Genghis Khan when the full release ships.

To opt-in, all you need to do is visit the official Guild Wars 2 beta site and submit your hardware configuration along with some personal information. Minimum requirements for the game have not been released yet, but chances are if you can't play most modern games on your PC then you won't be able to play Guild Wars 2 either. Thankfully, console versions will come at a later date so specs won't be a barrier of entry.
