Halo 4 Limited Edition Available For Pre-Order

Posted on Wednesday, May 16 @ 12:33:02 Eastern by

Available for preorder for the crisp price of $99.99, Halo 4 Limited Edition concentrates on the notable Halo multiplayer experience. There will not be a Legendary Edition as they are focusing their "efforts on a single special edition".

Owners will be granted access to the nine maps within the War Games Map Pack once they are available post-launch on Xbox LIVE, as well as six Specializations which players can use to "achieve higher ranks in your Spartan career" and "unlock customization options".

On the story side, the Limited Edition includes the UNSC Infinity Briefing Packet which debriefs information on UNSC weapons, UNSC Infinity sihp, and Spartan-IVs. This is on top of the Special Edition of Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn (that's a mouthful) which is "a 90-minute extended version of the live-action digital series" which reveals how Master Chief "inspired a young cadet who would eventually become a leader aboard... the UNSC Infinity".

If that weren't enough, you'll also get unique skins for the Spartan-IV armor and the Assault Rifle, an exclusive in-game emblem, and several tidbits for your Xbox LIVE Avatar.

The Halo 4 Limited Edition is available at six official retailers: Microsoft Store, Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and Walmart.
