Halo: The Master Chief Collection Gets New Trailer, Coagulation Map Remake [Update]

Posted on Monday, July 7 @ 04:18:00 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

[Update] Fans of the Halo 2 map Ascension will be pleased to know 343 Industries provided a lengthy look at the remade version of this classic map during its RTX panel this past weekend. A number of nifty little tweaks have been added, including a shield in the center of the map that can be activated remotely.

See the in-depth map walkthrough above.

[Original] Yesterday, during 343 Industries' Halo-centric panel at RTX, the company debuted a brand-new trailer for Halo: The Master Chief Collection, providing a sneak peak at the Terminals embedded within the game, which flesh out the story of the Arbiter.

In addition, 343 made a handful of exciting reveals, not the least of which include the announcement that Coagulation will join Ascension as the second of six remade multiplayer maps from Halo 2. See it in all of its stunning glory below.

And if that weren't enough, the game is getting a brand-new vehicle, a gun-equipped vehicle called the "Gungoose."

What do you think of these announcements for Halo: The Master Chief Collection? Will you be picking up this legendary compilation when it arrives this November?
