In case you didn't already know, Blockade Entertainment is working on a CG animated film set in the Heavenly Sword universe. The movie just received a sleek new trailer, which you can check out below.

Heavenly Sword is a PlayStation 3-exclusive action game that launched in 2007. It was developed by Ninja Theory and sported some of the most impressive visuals at the time of its release. The upcoming movie is clearly capitalizing on the game's gorgeous artistic design to create an animated experience that is downright jaw-dropping.

The film will star Anna Torv, Alfred Molina, and Thomas Jane. It's set to hit theaters in June 2014.
