Heavenly Sword Movie Gets Release Date, Trailer

Posted on Thursday, July 10 @ 10:00:00 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

The movie based on Ninja Theory's action-packed PlayStation 3 exclusive, Heavenly Sword, has finally received a release date. That's right, folks! This game-to-film adaptation is actually going to see the light of day.

Heavenly Sword will be available for purchase on Blu-ray and DVD, as well as digitally via the PlayStation Store, on September 2nd. Be sure to give the trailer above a good viewing and check out the snazzy cover art for the retail versions below.

Heavenly Sword launched back in 2007 on the PlayStation 3 as a Sony exclusive. Might this movie be too little too late? Share your thoughts on the CGI motion picture in the comments below.
