Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.

State of Decay Review
Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

GameStop Says Last Guardian Is Canceled [Update] Sony Says No

Posted on Thursday, December 22 @ 12:35:11 Eastern by Keri_Honea
[Update] Kotaku spoke to Sony's director of communications Patrick Seybold who claims that the news is not true.

[Original Story] When word came down that Fumito Ueda of Team ICO was leaving Sony, one of the first thoughts that came to everyone's minds was what would happen to The Last Guardian. You know... that awesome game that we only saw a smidgen of a trailer at E3 2009. While Sony assured everyone that The Last Guardian would still release, it seems that GameStop knows more than the rest of us.

Readers have contacted Destructoid this morning saying that GameStop called them to let them know that they were having to cancel their preorders for The Last Guardian. Destructoid called both Sony and GameStop, and only GameStop has returned their calls to say that "yes, it has been canceled".

I didn't preorder the game, but I still called my local GameStop and then two other stores in the area because I'm just that paranoid. All three said the same.

So while we have to wait for Sony's official word on the matter, right now the future for The Last Guardian is sadly bleak.

Shouldn't be too surprising even though they said it wasn't canceled. Sucks though. Looked awesome.

I wanted to just write "U Mad Bro?" but decide to give some actual input.

Well this game is at the point where it can't possibly live up to expectations.

Gamestop has came out and said what we meant is we are removing from our pre-order list until it gets a release date. Which doesn't make sense to me. Almost all video game initial launch days are tentative.

Sounds like an idiot trying to cover his tracks, Gamestops never had a problem before selling preorders for games with no release date, they just make one up.
