Homefront Sells 250% More on Xbox 360 than PS3

Posted on Monday, March 21 @ 14:40:42 Eastern by

According to Chart-Track, which excludes sales on digital services, 70% of copies for Homefront were sold on Xbox 360 compared to only 26% on the PS3. All together, it defeated Dragon Age II and Dead Space 2, entering the UK all-formats chart at number one.

Many speculate that the exclusive Xbox 360 downloadable content have skewed Homefront purchases to its side, with a promise from Major Nelson that "all future Homefront downloadable content will come first to Xbox 360 and our Xbox Live community". Xbox 360 gamers were also treated to the exclusive Suburbs multiplayer map.

Console-exclusive content can have as much impact as console exclusives.
