Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.

Hong Kong Gets The Best Sleeping Dogs Version

Posted on Tuesday, July 31 @ 07:18:22 Eastern by

Square Enix will be celebrating the host city of their upcoming Sleeping Dogs title by releasing a Hong Kong edition just for them, which will include nearly all four pre-order packs announced for US retailers at seemingly no additional cost.

The first is the George St-Pierre pack, which I find amusing because what the hell is a Canadian doing in a Hong Kong action flick and because of the immediate imagery of him being paired with Jackie Chan in Rush Hour 4. But that aside, the pack will actually just give Wei Shen St-Pierre's signature outfit plus "flying punch" (or superman punch) move and appropriately increased throw and grapple damage.

The Police Protection pack grants players a SWAT car, outfit, and rifle, as well as an exclusive mission. If one car isn't enough, the Deep Undercover pack gives yet another undercover car and a "plain clothes" ensemble as an effective disguise. The Martial Arts pack (isn't the George St-Pierre pack enough?) further unlocks a Shaolin warrior outfit and a training dummy for combat buffs.

This limited Sleeping Dogs Hong Kong edition will cost 388 HKD or about $50 US. In the US, the George St-Pierre pack will be available in Best Buy, the Police Protection pack in GameStop, and the Martial Arts pack for Amazon.

I think it's great they got George to look over the combat honestly. So it's a nice touch he gets his own clothes set.
