Hope You Held Out For Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition

Posted on Monday, March 14 @ 11:13:15 Eastern by

While Capcom have repeatedly said that Yun and Yang would not be making their way to consoles, they never said anything about the entire arcade game hitting the Xbox 360 and PS3.

Presumably, Yun and Yang and every other tweak made to Super Street Fighter IV for the arcades will be coming home for gamers reluctant to drop quarters in the form of Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition. Now if Capcom would only charge $80 and pack it in a rectangular cardboard box we'd really feel like we've gone back in time to the Super NES era.

Consider it a rumor until an official Capcom statement. The source for Arcade Edtion claims is the Korean Game Rating Board. Under normal circumstances you could assume that the Board was simply rating Arcade Edtion for an arcade release. When the website lists two separate Arcade Edtions, it usually means the game is coming to consoles.

We'll hopefully hear more about Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition in the coming weeks. Check out Yun and Yang below.
