Human Revolution Hearing Aids in Deus Ex Audio Dev Diary

Posted on Friday, August 12 @ 15:20:28 Eastern by
In the future, you'll be able to hear through walls... and not like... you know, someone is yelling "CAN YOU HEAR ME?!?!" and you've got one of those cups and you're trying to listen through the wall. It'll just happen! And the other person won't have to yell! I mean, they'll still be saying the same thing. Like if you got your ears augmented with robotics you wouldn't immediate try them out by having your buddy talk quietly on the other side of the wall?

So instead of "CAN YOU HEAR ME?!?!" he just says "hey... can you hear me?" That's what this Deus Ex: Human Revolution Dev Diary is all about... At least I think that's what's it about: two guys, testing out their new hearing augmentations... hearing... aids.

*sigh* Let's just watch:

Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be out on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC on August 23rd, 2011.

Hearing aids? Is that what happens when your ears sleep around? *insert rimshot*
