Humble Origin Bundle Rakes In Over $10.5 Million For Charity

Posted on Thursday, August 29 @ 07:59:05 PST by Alex_Osborn

EA's Humble Origin Bundle raised over $10.5 million for charity before it closed. That's certainly not a figure to scoff at, as it has gone on to be the most successful Humble Bundle...ever. In fact, the EA-sponsored bundle managed to amass more than double the funds of the prior reigning champ.

The bundle offered a number of great titles, not the least of which includedMirror's Edge,Battlefield 3,Dead Space, andDead Space 3, among others. The proceeds went to a number of incredible organizations likeThe American Red Cross andThe San Francisco Aids Foundation. Good stuff.

Just last week we reported that the bundle had surpassed 1.7 millionin sales. That number managed to climb all the way to 2.1 million bundles before the drive ended.
