After all these years, and growing up with Windows 3.1, I have seen an entire evolution of computers and software. Touch screens and large resolutions were a pipe dream just 15 years ago. Now it's the norm. Going from a Packard Bell (yes, before HP) that couldn't run 3D Ultra Mini...

Humble Origin Bundle Rakes In Over $10.5 Million For Charity

Posted on Thursday, August 29 @ 07:59:05 PST by Alex_Osborn

EA's Humble Origin Bundle raised over $10.5 million for charity before it closed. That's certainly not a figure to scoff at, as it has gone on to be the most successful Humble Bundle... ever. In fact, the EA-sponsored bundle managed to amass more than double the funds of the prior reigning champ.

The bundle offered a number of great titles, not the least of which included Mirror's EdgeBattlefield 3Dead Space, and Dead Space 3, among others. The proceeds went to a number of incredible organizations like The American Red Cross and The San Francisco Aids Foundation. Good stuff.

Just last week we reported that the bundle had surpassed 1.7 million in sales. That number managed to climb all the way to 2.1 million bundles before the drive ended.
