Hybrid Pulled From Xbox Live Marketplace [Update]

Posted on Thursday, August 9 @ 10:16:00 Eastern by

[Update] We've received word that this server issue for Hybrid has been resolved. Creative director Jeremiah Slaczka is relieved of course:
We have worked with Microsoft to diagnose and resolve the server issue surrounding Hybrid. Our entire team appreciates the overwhelming response of fans logging in on day-1 and for bearing with us during this short downtime. We expect a smooth gameplay experience from here on out.
[Original] 5th Cell's Hybrid, the fourth title in this year's Xbox LIVE Summer of Arcade, has been experiencing server issues all throughout today, its release day, and as such has been pulled temporarily from the marketplace.

Since just getting into the main menu requires a server connection, Microsoft and 5th Cell hope to get the issue resolved soon:
We'd like to confirm that we have identified a problem and are in the process of finding a solution. We will make the game available as soon as we can, and we apologize for the inconvenience! Thank you for your patience in the meantime.
It's unforunate that this error wasn't caught during the game's beta phase. We will update this story as soon as the title returns to the marketplace.

Yep, it wasn't the server in the beta though. It was just very difficult to find matches.

I mean, it was the server, but it's not completely out like this was.
