I Don't Think We're On Pandora Anymore....

Posted on Thursday, August 18 @ 09:13:57 Eastern by danielrbischoff

While I'm not the most seasoned traveler in the Pandora universe, having only started the game this summer, I will say that these new screenshots are a welcome change of pace. No more dust... some new colors... and some damn sharp cel-shaded styling.

Gearbox Software and 2K Games released these four screen shots at Gamescom this week, but you can be sure there'll be more media and more information about Borderlands 2 at PAX Prime. Keep a close eye on GameRevolution as we bring you everything you need to know about the upcoming sequel.

This is beginning to look interesting. The co-op on the first one was fun as hell.

Thank god they did a better job of shading the black-line and how blurry it was in 360 version was terrible

The snow level looks like a beastly version of the Eridian Promontory near the end, and the main characters looks like my roommate.

You mean the level that everyone just runs straight through because they're sick of being jerked around and just want to get to the last boss and hope it drops something good?

Damn, it doesn't even look like it came from in game. That is some great cell shading.

That yellow bot... anyone else getting a Marcus, the Bus Dude/Weapon's Dealer, vibe from that?

Also, I do believe Dual-weilding is either going to be a new feature or the action of the new blue-haired dude.

believe it or not, I'm not a fan of Borderlands. I thought while the concept and everytihing was nice, the mere fact that you cant create your own character, and are stuck just recoloring a character thats already made, was a gigantic turn off for me.

Really? You based your entire opinion of the game based on character customization. I guess you don't like God of War, Gears of War, Bioshock, Halo, Infamous, Batman AA, or really any games that's not an RPG?

Character customization should be the last thing a person judges a game on.

@Imnickson: The Witcher was a RPG without any character customization, and one of my favorite RPG tiles. And what about Diablo II one of 5 characters only (7 with the expansion pack). As well as almost all old school JRPG’s no character customization in them.
