If You're Craving Turok And Jurassic Park, This Half-Life 2 Mod Is For You

Posted on Wednesday, January 2 @ 17:40:03 Eastern by Jonathan_Leack
RAWRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

A mod for Half-Life 2 called Jurassic Life was announced over two years ago, and its indie development team is almost ready to release it to the public. To show how ambitious the mod is, the team has released a three-minute trailer which shows some of the vicious dinosaurs that walk its landscapes. Watch the trailer below:

Jurassic Life will have a story to follow and will be set in several environments, some of which correlate to locations in the Jurassic Park series. There will be guns, but scarce ammo, so surival instinct will be your best weapon. Best of all, it'll only require a copy of Half-Life 2 to play. The only catch is that it'll be PC exclusive, but you have a gaming PC already, right?

Well I meant that any PC will do since the game is old, but thanks for reminding me I can't install mods on my Xbox, jerk.

Well you can, but at a very high risk of getting banned for online play. JTAG is hunted mercilessly by Microsoft these days, too many people using it for cheating instead of modding.

Looks incredible! Now I feel like I should get off my ass and make the next Turok game since Disney is apparently just going to let the license rot.

it still amazes me that most awe inspiring world ever created, namely the jurassic park universe, has never gotten a decent game. i mean, trespasser was the closest thing to it and that was horrible. just imagine a survival horror game on the jurassic park islands, god damn it suck my dick
