After all these years, and growing up with Windows 3.1, I have seen an entire evolution of computers and software. Touch screens and large resolutions were a pipe dream just 15 years ago. Now it's the norm. Going from a Packard Bell (yes, before HP) that couldn't run 3D Ultra Mini...

Import All Your Dance Central Tracks to Dance Central 2

Posted on Wednesday, September 21 @ 16:15:15 PST by

Why can't I dance battle in Dance Central? What the hell? I mean... I've got enough space... I've got the Kinect and it can do two players simultaneously in other games. Why can't I dance-off?!

Never fear hidden-booty-shakers! Harmonix and Microsoft have announced that you'll be able to export your Dance Central tracks from the original disc to your hard drive. There, they'll be accessible by Dance Central 2. This process will cost you 400 Microsoft Points but you'll make up the time in not constantly switching the disc.

Let it be known that you'll still be waving your hands around like a fool during the "freestyle" sections of those songs, even if you turn it off. Some retailers will even pay for this transfer if you preorder Dance Central 2, so shake-it out to your local games retailer before October 25th once it's at retail.
