Injustice: Gods Among Us Gets A Collector's Edition

Posted on Wednesday, September 26 @ 15:14:35 Eastern by

We can't have a comic book video game like this and not have some kind of collector's edition, right? Warner Bros. has revealed a $99.99 version of the Mortal Kombat-inspired fighter that will arrive in April 2013 in limited quantities for Xbox 360 and PS3, but not Wii U (yet?).

The main highlight in the collector's edition is the exclusive DC Collectibles 13" statue above featuring Batman and Wonder Woman featuring some hardcore cosplay S&M superhero struggle. The European version of the bundle will come with a different statue that's pictured below.

Also included in the package is a collector's edition issue of a brand new DC Comics series, a digital download of the animated film Justice League: Doom, and three skins on Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman from DC Comics - The New 52.

I agree, even though WW's outfit is technically less skimpy in it, it simply looks better...not to mention absence of a stupid-looking missile

The Euro one also has better/more authentic suits. I don't like the way either character's suit looks in the American one.

the US one is literally a monument to the feminism...I can already see it...

"Watch as Wonder Woman breaks though the chains of the male chauvinism, and uses them to hold in place the symbol of male sexism that is Batman, before bringing down upon his head the full weight of female wrath in a form of a missile held in her hands."

Whereas the Euro one is far more believable, with Batman wondering why the **** his sammich ain't made yet. I think it's a play on capitalist Western society, though. It's not Batman's fault - he was born and raised as a billionaire playboy. To someone like Bruce Wayne, everyone's a servant, regardless of age, race, sex, gender, or sexual orientation. He's an equal opportunity slaver... or whatever the appropriate term is for the occupation that comes just before slaver... overlord? Servant-keeper?

Batman's agonic face, a rocket, Wonder Woman's after-surgery boobs, what's not to like?

Sounds like a good collectors edition. I don't care about the skins, but Justice League: Doom might be good to watch. I don't like the U.S. statue, because Batman's face reminds me of Bane.
