Insomniac Reveals Official Box Art For Fuse

Posted on Tuesday, November 27 @ 14:12:13 Eastern by Alex_Osborn
After totally winning me over with Resistance 3's box art, Insomniac Games has decided to break my heart by going with a cover for Fuse that leaves much to be desired. It looks generic, boring and far too orange. Plus, it really clashes with Xbox 360's green case and logo.

I blame Electronic Arts. Remember how hideous Mass Effect 2's cover art was?

But alas, the world doesn't revolve around me and my opinions, so give it a look for yourself below and let us know in the comments whether or not you like the look.

And for all you whiners out there who think things would have been better if Insomniac Games stuck with Overstrike, I present to you an even uglier cover.

So believe it or not, it could have been much, much worse. I guess we all should be thankful.

The only cover art that could go well with that case and logo would be one for Flubber: The Game.

I like how the NTSC symbol is over that guy's mouth, like, "Nope. Black guy can't talk."

Why... are their heads cut off? I mean, I'm no graphic designer, but I took a couple of college classes and that was definitely discussed as a no-no unless you had a very specific reason for doing it. I don't see that reason here.

It scares me to see that if they are THAT lazy with the cover how lazy were the with the game? This might be the first Insomniac disaster.

Are these games connected somehow? If you look closely the characters are the same in each cover. Black girl/guy, short hair redhead chick and white dude.
