J Jonah Jameson Is In Portal 2

Posted on Sunday, March 13 @ 11:59:16 Eastern by

Those of you who are as hungry as I am for Portal 2 details have PAX East to thank for the latest tidbit from Valve. Attendees are the first to get confirmation of a new character and the voice actor behind the role.

While we've known about Steven Merchant's role as Wheatley, Valve's showing footage with voice over by Cave Johnson (pictured above), CEO and Founder of Aperture Science. I'm sure we'll have more media featuring Johnson in the next week after PAX attendees are done feeling special.

Cave Johnson is voiced by JK Simmons who is probably best known for his work as J Jonah Jameson in the Sam Raimi directed Spider-Man movies. You know... this fits. It feels right. I think we're ready for our cake now, Valve.

Portal 2 is scheduled to hit store shelves, and Steam, on April 18th. It'll come equipped with Steam Play capabilities. The PS3 version of the game also comes with codes to activate the title on Steam for both Mac and PC.
